"Whilst serving in the military, I found myself in the jungles of Belize in 1989/90. This is where I first tried sleeping in a hammock. After overcoming the initial problems, I found it very comfortable to sleep in, and this method has been a staple for me when hiking and camping to this day. However, unable to find the lightweight gear I wanted, I began to splice and sew my own.

After receiving some expensive, unsatisfactory gear and matching poor customer service, I began supplying components and importing high-quality hammock camping gear to like-minded people. Now, with the help of my partner Sally, we have grown.

We still offer the imported, tried-and-tested, first-rate gear, but now we are branching out to offer our own, high-quality, practical hammock camping gear to make life easier while feeling exceptionally comfortable for all."
