In the winter of  1989/90, I tried hammock camping. It was clear that this was an excellent method for getting a comfortable night's rest and sleep. I started making hammock camping gear because I could not find the lightweight equipment necessary for my needs.

 

After receiving unsatisfactory gear with matching customer service, I set up and supplied it to like-minded people. With the help of my partner Sally, Henge Hammocks has gone from strength to strength.
