Mini Soft Shackles are ultra-lightweight, compact, and ideal for attaching your tarp to your ridgeline using a prusik knot. Unlike metal carabiners, they won’t damage other gear when packed and, as an added bonus, help lighten your load—each shackle weighs just 1 gram!
 
Each shackle is made from 1.75mm, eight-strand braid Zing-it!/Lash-it! by Samson Ropes, boasting an average strength of 500 lbs (230 kg). They’re simple to use: just open the loop at one end, feed the knot through, and close the loop.
 
Sold individually. Our standard stock is Red 1.75mm Lash/Zing-it!, but you can also choose from Yellow, Silver, Orange, Blue, Green, or Black. Simply choose ‘Custom Colour’ from the drop-down menu and specify your preferred colour in the text box.
