These Mini Soft Shackles are Ultra-Lightweight, small and perfect for attaching your tarp to your ridgeline via a prusik knot. Unlike metal carabiners, these do not cause damage to other materials when packed away and, of course, have the added benefit of lightening your pack as they only weigh one gram each!
 
These are constructed using 1.75mm, eight-strand braid Zing-it!/Lash-it! from Samson Ropes that has an average strength of 500lbs or 230Kgs. Easy to use, open the loop at one end, feed the knot through, and close the loop down.
