This cord remains a rigid, lightweight, stiff cord that utilises the strength of UHMWPE (the raw material of AmSteel-Blue) and features a tightly woven outer sheath. The yellow version has a one-strand reflective tracer running through it. In the green version, the reflective tracer has been replaced with a black thread, breaking up the solid green colour.
This pre-stretched cord has strength while remaining lightweight and durable. The stiffly woven sheath is ideal for Ridgelines, Guylines, and general use, with superb knot-holding capabilities. However, it does not work well for Ridgelines when partnering with Dutch Fleaz/Wasps, etc. For this combination, we suggest using an unsheathed hollow braid, such as Zing/Lash-it!
